TK Glamping & Wellness is the combined efforts of Roger Lamoureux (owner) and Brigitte Thom. TK is a division of the corporation of Tatawaw Kanata Glamping and Wellness Ltd. Established in 2019, with it’s inaugural year of operations starting in spring of 2026. Its business model is to provide a high-quality glamping services to both domestic and international clientele. Currently off-grid with generator power for domestic use future solar energy will be installed.
Business Description
Tatawaw (Plains Cree for “Welcome We Have Room”) Kanata (means “Community or It is Pure & Clean”) specializes in unique adult only no pets outdoor accommodation. Our unique glamping units and sites include stylish above ground, hard wall rustic tents. Each tent has its own flushing two-piece bathroom unit. Our pricing structure includes; accommodation and a European style breakfast. Breakfast will be delivery directly to sites upon request or enjoyed at our dining area. Our tent sites are located in a wildlife corridor and include several amenities; above ground decks, private grass spaces and/or patios and firepits (BBQ's available upon request) and Wi-Fi is available. Other onsite amenities include; a two, 3-piece (shower-sink-toilet) bathroom trailer, outdoor shower, lounge areas, a barbeque hut, a group or table for two dining spots, socializing firepits upper and lower, exercise equipment, horseshoe pits, mediation sites, open grass areas for yoga and an Amphitheatre and stage for special events. TK’s management will book for our guests one of many various health practitioners who offer their services onsite. We invite our guests to relax, get back to nature and re-energize themselves while visiting on these secrete indigenous lands. To enhance our customer value, a guest will have the option of being introduced to the history, culture and many interactive events offered by our indigenous hosts. In addition, we will customize their stay by booking them into a multiple of third-party year-round activities. These services will be provided by qualified guides and agents operating in the Okanagan valley. TK will operate in the mid-spring, high season of summer and early fall pending weather conditions on opening and closing seasons.

TK recognizes that we are guests of the of Gregoire family and their son Carl, who is the steward of the land. We honor his land that overlooks the spectacular views and landscapes of the surrounding areas of the North Okanagan Lake. Our operations and tent locations are nestled along the north side of Deep Creek coulee. This area is considered a wildlife corridor to several species of birds, mammals, reptiles, and fish. A perfect setting to experience the Canadian outdoor environment.
